Answers:
and what rights are you talking about?

And what was your crime?

You know, a few facts would help.
Start writing stories about yourself and what you learned, and submit them to the local newspapers. Be honest.

Join groups that are important to you. Ask schools and groups if you can give speeches about the stories. Talk to your family or write them letters.

Acknowledge yourself as having a story that will help society and individuals. You are worthy and have a lot to offer. Your rights will return. It's up to you. Good Luck!
You already have all of your rights back. Any right that another American possesses that you don't is a right that you forfeited by being convicted (right to bear arms, vote, etc). There is no getting those rights back.
People lose different rights for different crimes they commite, best thing to do if you lost any rights is pettition your local congressman
Your actions will speak louder than words (my sons father was is prision twice before he was 2) If you are out with no probation they still should have been a counselor. If you did not get a counselor call Department of Human Services it is their job to help you any way that they can.
I don't know what rights you want back. Some are unfortunetly gone the rest you have to earn. Prove yourself. You can do it.

If your kids were taken. Get a job and a safe place to live/visit. Go to EVERY visitation no excuses. get to know your kids again and remember they have had a person who parented them for you. Respect that, that person is not their parent but they have been doing your job. They love your child/ren too. Expect this to take a LONG time but every visit with your children will show them you made a mistake but you love them. Even if they are adults when you get together that is better than nothing. Show them that you love them enought to work for every second you can spend with them now.
What rights are you trying to get back? Visitation with children? Voting? Right to own a firearm? It is certainly going to depend on what rights you are trying to get back. Some you won't, some you can with a bit of work.
